After your first evaluation appointment with your Prosthetists or Orthotists talking about your goals, condition and overall health, we can prepare a rough estimate.

What are the Prosthetic or Orthotic cost? Your prosthetic or orthotic cost can vary depending on the level of amputation and the different componentry required and type of injury you have. Many times it’s difficult to tell someone how much it is going to cost without you having an in person evaluation.

Insurance and Patient Responsibility

Our staff is knowledgeable in the field of prosthetics and orthotics and they communicate with all payor sources. We will assist you with phone calls, necessary forms and mailings and keep you and the prosthetist or orthotist  updated on the insurance approval process. We have many years of experience in securing payment for your care. We excel in providing this type of assistance to our patients and feel it is a major part of your total care.

We are in network for most Insurance providers in the area and work with many others who may be out of your network.

Changes during Covid:

With the recent Pandemic of Covid-19 at Ozark and Prosthetics we have implemented new procedures to keep you and our staff healthy and safe. Some of these procedures we have implemented are:

• We are limiting the number of people in the facility at any one time.
• We steriliie all hard surfaces after each patient.
• We are limiting the number of people coming in contact with our patients during their visit.
• We are asking patients to refrain from coming to their appointments if ill or running a fever.

As Covid 19 improves and the restrictions are loosened, we will re-evaluate our policies and procedures.
